Manchester United dealt MAJOR blow in pursuit of Harry Kane as Spanish Giants Eye Spurs’ striker

Real Madrid are in desperate search of a striker and feels Harry Kane could be an ideal replacement of Karim Benzema.

Real Madrid is in search of a replacement for Karim Benzema. The striker decided to part ways with Los Blancos after 14 successful years. Now, club President Florentino Perez and manager Carlo Ancelotti have identified Tottenham Hotspur striker, Harry Kane as their ideal replacement. This comes as a blow to Manchester United and Erik Ten Hag as they were eyeing his signature as well. Reports also say that contact has been established between Kane and Madrid chiefs.

MANCHESTER UNITED dealt HUGE HARRY KANE blow as REAL MADRID make contact with SPURS striker

According to reports, Real Madrid has contacted Tottenham about a possible transfer for Harry Kane. Kane has been named as Real’s top target to take the place of the Frenchman as the team’s new No. 9. Marca claims that Real Madrid’s management and Tottenham have spoken.

In addition, they assert that Real has established contact with Kane’s group. The 29-year-old is a favourite of Carlo Ancelotti, the manager of Real Madrid, and the Italian is said to have insisted that he be treated as a priority signing. Last week, Sun Sport reported that Kane wants to stay in England as he chases Alan Shearer’s all-time scoring record.

United to miss out on Kane?

The leaders of Madrid think they can influence his decision. If he is unable to sign with Manchester United, Kane has one year left on his contract with Tottenham and may decide to let it expire.

Like Ancelotti, Erik ten Hag is a major fan of the forward. Spurs, meanwhile, are still hesitant to let go of their all-time leading scorer despite his contract issue.
