LPL 2020 Live Broadcast : LPL 2020 gets broadcast deals in Pakistan, India and UK

LPL 2020 Live Broadcast & Live Streaming in India, Pakistan, India and UK : Lanka Premier League (LPL 2020) organizers have signed deals with broadcasters in various cricket playing territories. In India, LPL 2020 will be broadcasted live on Sony Sports. Independent Television Network (ITN) will broadcast the league in host territory of Sri Lanka while Sky Sports has been signed as broadcaster for UK and Geo TV and PTV will be the broadcasters for Pakistan.

Amid pandemic, LPL 2020 is going through various organizational issues which includes pullout by some big players and members of coaching staff, but the multiple broadcast deals will keep the tournament in good stead.

We share a long-standing relationship with the Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) board and as the rights holders of SLC, this is a natural extension. The LPL is a good brand of cricket that is set to feature many sub-continent players making it a very attractive addition to our cricket portfolio,” said Rajesh Kaul, Chief Revenue Officer, Distribution and Head – Sports Business, Sony Pictures Networks India.

LPL 2020 Broadcast in Sri Lanka : The state-owned network, ITN, which runs on a free-to-air basis will take the games to all corners of Sri Lanka earning a strong follower base for the tournament.

The involvement of the superstars in T20 cricket like Chris Gayle, Shahid Afridi and Lasith Malinga will definitely glue the viewers across the world to their televisions.

With a Pakistan based franchise – Galle Gladiators – taking part in the tournament and several Pakistani stars being part of the event will create a massive reach in Pakistan for the tournament.
