Jude Bellingham is about to go from Borussia Dortmund to Real Madrid, although the two clubs are still negotiating the exact price. The England midfielder appears certain to complete his monumental move this week or the following. His German team is holding out for £130 million.
The agreement would cost £105 million up front and an additional £25 million, a significant rise over the £30 million Dortmund paid Birmingham three years prior. Real Madrid, who first got in touch two years ago, has been negotiating with Bellingham’s father Mark.
The 19-year-old has favoured a move to Spain rather than Manchester City and even Liverpool because they could not afford him. Instead, he preferred to transfer to Spain. Bellingham’s contract might be for a period of six years.
Bellingham missed Dortmund’s final game in the League due to a knee injury. Bellingham was the last player to leave on Saturday night and bid the club’s security personnel goodnight. Bellingham DID NOT say goodbye to the supporters on the field after the game.
According to Marca, he then allegedly spoke with Dortmund’s management on Monday morning and told them he wants to go. Bellingham received the Germans’ approval, but they are adamant that they will seek the best possible price for their star player from Real Madrid. Bellingham is expected to cost Carlo Ancelotti’s team a base fee of £85 million, but Dortmund maintains that this is insufficient.
Harry Kane to Real Madrid?
According to reports, Real Madrid has been given the opportunity to sign Harry Kane of Tottenham this summer in a player-plus-cash deal that also includes Eden Hazard. Next summer, when Kane’s contract in North London expires, Spurs will likely have one more chance in THIS summer transfer window to make a deal for the striker before running the risk of losing him for free.
