Like PUBG, Valorant all set to go mobile

A new Valorant leak has surfaced following Patch 1.08, which hints towards the fact that Riot are looking to take their tactical shooter to iOS and Android!

Recently, a video surfaced on the internet in which data miners found a curious leak while browsing through code following release of patch 1.08. A functional mobile UI could be seen on the screen, hinting at the release of Valorant’s Android version.

At a point in India when PUBG is banned and players are still looking for a game to jump to, Valorant on mobile seems like it will create the perfect brew for the Indian fps mobile players. The game having caught on well on PC, it has been CS:GO players in every corner of the world switch to it, giving it a unique hype. Considering this if and when Valorant mobile is launched we expect to see players stock to it.

Based on Riot’s response to community requests — such as the inclusion of Spike Rush and Deathmatch, balancing Agents and tweaking Competitive ranks — it’s evident that the League of Legends developers are in this for the long-haul. They are obliging to the communities voice and giving them what they want in this action of playful co-creativity.

By shaping Valorant around the consumer, Riot are creating a loyal fanbase that will want to keep returning back to Future Earth. But despite their best efforts, a big portion of the market is still missing out on Valorant: the mobile market.

Valorant’s Game Director, Joe Ziegler, has previously stated that Riot are “exploring” the option of bringing the Future Earth experience to mobile. But since then, little has been offered by way of an update.
“While we are exploring other platforms like console and mobile, right now the team is working hard to deliver a top notch experience on PC,” Zeigler said.

Console fans are also hyped, if Riot are considering a mobile release, then the possibility of a console release is also on the cards.
