The head of the Delhi Commission for Women, Swati Maliwal wrote on Twitter, “After my notice, the Delhi Police has registered an FIR in the case of indecent comments made on the daughters of Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni. Very soon all the culprits will be arrested and behind bars.”
Last week, Swati Maliwal took cognisance of the vulgar remarks being made on social media regarding the daughter of cricket players Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Virat Kohli. She also shared screenshots of the tweet and demanded an investigation into the offenders.

“Some accounts are posting pictures of the daughters of two senior players of the country, Virat Kohli and (M S) Dhoni, on Twitter and making lewd comments. Disgusting comments about two-year-old and seven-year-old girls. If you don’t like a player, will you abuse his daughter? Issuing notice to police to register FIR,” Maliwal tweeted in Hindi.
Additionally, Swati Maliwal argued that while some people may not like a player, saying derogatory things about their daughters is utterly inappropriate.
This was not the first time commission had taken note of the hatred directed toward Vamika. The Delhi Commission for Women took immediate notice in 2021 of the online rape threat made against Vamika on Twitter when she was just nine months old.
