Opting to bat, Galle Gladiators set a 154-run target for league-leaders Kandy Falcons. Although Thanuka Dabare and Nuwanidu Fernando slammed half-centuries, Gladiators struggled against Falcons bowling. Isuru Udana and Carlos Brathwaite bowled brilliant spells to restrict Gladiators to 153/6. Earlier, Kusal Mendis has won the toss and opted to bat first. Third in the points table with a huge negative NRR, this is a must-win game for Gladiators. But Galle have gone unchanged. For Wanindu Hasaranga-led Kandy Falcons, they have made one change. Fabian Allen is out for Ashan Priyanjan.
