Sony Pictures Network has closed in deals with seven broadcast sponsors for India’s forthcoming tour of South Africa. Water purifier brand Kent RO, Byju’s learning app and real estate database website 99acres.com will be the lead broadcast sponsors for the three Tests, six One-day and three T20 internationals series.

Idea 4G, Maruti Suzuki, Raymonds, and Makemytrip.com  have inked deals in the co-presenting category.

The sponsorship slots are closed at INR 85,000 for the Test series, INR 4.2 lakh for the one-day internationals and INR 5 lakh for the three-match T-20 series, a senior market source confirmed to insidesport.co.

“Sony has struck impressive deals for (India’s tour of) South Africa. After a dull series at home against Sri Lanka, cricket fans will be looking forward to some serious competition against Proteas, who will also have home advantage. The matches in South Africa suit Indian broadcasters the best to capture prime-time eyeballs. That is always an added attraction for the advertisers and attract a premium of inventories,” the market veteran said.

India’s one-and-a-half-month tour to South Africa will include three Tests, six One-day and three T20 Internationals.
