Interestingly, Sean Strickland believes Israel Adesanya is going to get the job done when he faces Alex Pereira. However, his prediction hasn’t come without a fair share of criticism for the champion. Strickland suggested that ‘Izzy’ will just bounce around and outpoint Pereira for five rounds.

During a recent interview with The Schmo, ‘Tarzan’ said:
“I think Izzy’s gonna beat Alex. I think Izzy’s gonna stand there and Izzy’s gonna bounce around and outpoint Alex for five rounds. We’re all gonna say Izzy’s the best in the world. Doesn’t change the fact he’s a bit*h.”
Sean Strickland further criticized Israel Adesanya for painting his nail. While claiming that it’s sad to see the “class of champion” in the Middleweight division, he said:
“The guy f***ing paints his nails. It’s sad. It’s sad that he is the class of champion that we have. Genetically gifted, great fighter but it’s sad that that’s the class of champions we have these days.”
It is worth noting that Israel Adesanya has constantly been criticized for fighting rather “boring” fights. The criticism was even more escalated after his most recent bout against Jared Cannonier after he seemingly failed to engage in any entertaining back and forth during the fight.
However, Jared Cannonier also didn’t look to put himself in any danger against the champion. It is safe to say that it won’t be the case when Alex Pereira takes on Israel Adesanya. It will be interesting to see how a fight plays out between ‘Izzy’ and the Brazilian.
