Despite starting the first leg of the semifinals with a brilliant goal, ATK Mohun Bagan were rocked by an equaliser scored by Bartholomew Ogbeche completely against the run of play in the first half where the Nizams hardly had any impact. That goal gave Hyderabad FC the energy and the belief to come back in the second where they pumped in two goals courtesy of great strikes from Mohammed Yasir and Javi Siverio.

ATK Mohun Bagan should approach this game with a clear mindset as they need to win by three goals to claim outright victory. A 2- goal win will help them force extra time giving more time to score the third or forcing penalties eventually.
