ISL 2020 Week 1: Team of the Week, All stats Leaders-Top Scorer, most passes & most saves

Gameweek 1 of the 2020-21 Hero Indian Super League (ISL 2020-21) got off to a thrilling starts and has already witnessed some roller coaster action inside the first week. While Hyderabad FC dominate the Team of the Week with four players, NorthEast United FC are not far behind with three players. ISL 2020: Top scorers after Week 1
FC Goa’s Igor Angulo continues to lead the goal-scorers chart after Week 1 of ISL 2020. The Spaniard found the back of the net twice in their season opener against Bengaluru FC. Angulo’s brace saved FC Goa’s blushes to pull the match back and level terms at 2-2.

Talismanic striker and a key cog of ATK MB’s record winning title squad last season, Roy Krishna also got his name in the scoresheet in their opening clash against Kerala Blasters.

Hyderabad’s Aridane Santann and Kweshi Apiah are the two other scorers in the Top 5 chart with a solitary goal each.

ISL 2020: Most saves by a keeper after Week 1

Jamshedpur FC might have lost their season’s opening match 1-2 against Chennaiyin but they could have lost by a bigger margin if not for the heroics of TP Rehnesh. The goalie made 4 clinical saves to restrict Chennaiyin to a 2-1 scoreline as he currently occupies the pole position amongst keepers.

Hyderabad FC’s Subrata Roy currently stands second on the list with 3 saves in their opening encounter against Odisha FC. Roy’s clinical display at goal helped Hyderabad FC maintain a thin lead of 1-0 and return with all 3 points.

Bengaluru FC’ Gurpreet Singh Sandhu and Odisha’s Arshdeep Singh occupies the third and fourth place on the list respectively.
