ISL 2020-21: Jamshedpur fails to secure any win in 3 games; held to 1-1 draw by Hyderabad FC

ISL 2020-21 Hyderabad FC vs Jamshedpur Full Time Score: 1-1; Both teams share spoils as the match ends in a draw. The second half saw both teams playing with a lot of intensity and soon Aridane Santana broke the deadlock in the 50th minute. Hyderabad FC had a golden chance to make it 2-0 in the 56th minute but Asish Rai was late in releasing his shot. Credit to Jamshedpur FC who kept on trying despite going a goal down. Eventually, their efforts paid off in the 85th minute when Stephen Eze blasted one past Laxmikant Kattimani to gain the equalizer.

JFC manager Owen Coyle: I thought we played really well in the second half. We deserved the equaliser. It’s extremely upsetting to see a fair goal being disallowed. We have players and coaching staff from abroad in the ISL. But there are no foreign referees coming here for a while. The quality of the league is improving but the refereeing standards have been the same. They need to do something about it.

Liston Colaco: I’m really happy to be involved in every match. The coach (Manolo Marquez) is giving me a lot of freedom and support. It makes me confident and improves my game. I’m disappointed that we weren’t able to get the victory. But we are ready to move on and have some time to rest. We could have scored the winner but that’s in the past. We have to focus on Mohun Bagan.
