Qualifier 2 first came into existence in 2011. Current Royal Challengers Bangalore spinner Karn Sharma have registered the best bowling figures in the history of IPL Qualifier 2. The right arm leg spinner picked up 4 wickets for 16 runs against Kolkata Knight Riders in 2017 while playing for Mumbai Indians.
