1. Narayan Jagadeesan
Narayan Jagadeesan created history in VHT 2022 after he smashed the highest-ever score in List A cricket. Released by the Chennai Super Kings (CSK), the wicketkeeper has become a hot name for the upcoming auction. With 5 centuries on the bounce, the TN star will certainly be on the wishlist of IPL franchises. To note, he was also the highest-run-getter in the Vijay Hazare Trophy with 830 runs to his name in just eight games. The Titans might certainly want to target Jagadeesan in the upcoming auction.
2. Joe Root
GT has a stable top order and lower order; however, the middle order cannot be relied upon in the crunch moments of the game due to the inconsistency. Root’s inclusion in the squad can help solve this flaw in the line-up. Hardik Pandya could use his services in the no. 3 spot to lay the foundation along with the openers. While they have three overseas slots to fill in and a remaining purse of ₹19.25 crore, securing the services of the Englishman may not be a big deal for the side.

Jason Holder can be a dark horse for the Titans. Apart from his bowling skills, Holder can be a perfect replacement for David Miller or Rahul Tewatia in the lower order. Speaking about Holder numbers in IPL with the bat, the 31-year-old has played 24 innings and has stroked 247 runs at a decent strike rate of 124.12.
