1. Jaydev Unadkat (Gujarat Titans)
GT traded Lockie Ferguson to KKR and will need a replacement, as head coach Ashish Nehra said earlier this month. Having a good outing in the domestic arena, Jaydev Unadkat can be an ideal target for the defending champions. Unadkat holds a lot of experience bowling with the new ball and his cutters can come handy in the death overs.
2. Ben Stokes (Lucknow Super Giants)
The Lucknow-based franchise released their pace all-rounder Jason Holder ahead of the IPL auction. With a decent amount left in their bank, LSG might definitely target the likes of Cameron Green and Ben Stokes. The Super Giants might be tempted to target Stokes as he played for the Sanjeev Goenka team in the 2017 edition.
3. Cameron Green (Sunrisers Hyderabad)
The Orange Army might be tempted to bag the services of Australian all-rounder Cameron Green. SRH have a total amount of INR 42.25 crore remaining in their purse. As a result, they will definitely going to target Green in the upcoming event. Official working closely with SRH management informed InsideSport, “Team will gun for a BIG ALLROUNDER at IPL Auction. Yes, Green, Stokes & Curran kind of players will be on the radar. But our decision-making will be dependent on the fact that whether these players are available for full IPL Window or not.”
4. Jason Holder (Mumbai Indians)
The biggest news from MI is they let go of Keiron Pollard. Jason Holder is up for grabs, and MI can look to add the all-rounder among the mix. With Bumrah, and Archer set to open the bowling, MI needs a middle-order enforcer, someone who can pick regular wickets. Holder provides that option and is also pretty handy with the bat in hand.
5. Manish Pandey (Rajasthan Royals)
Ahead of IPL 2023 auction, Rajasthan Royals released the likes of Rassie van der Dussen and Daryl Mitchell. With a power-packed batting line-up including Jos Buttler, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and Sanju Samson, RR might require a top-order who can play an anchor role. Pandey has a lot of experience in IPL and he can be an ideal Number 3 batter for the Jaipur-based franchise.

6. Nicholas Pooran (Delhi Capitals)
In IPL 2022, Mitchell Marsh played No. 3 for Delhi Capitals. The player, though, fell short of expectations. If the team targets Pooran at the IPL auctions, it wouldn’t be shocking. Pooran is player who could fill this position. A brilliant plan would be to place Pooran at No. 3 in a Top 4 that also included Rishabh Pant, Prithvi Shaw, and David Warner.
7. Sam Curran (Chennai Super Kings)
CSK would love to have their talismanic all-rounder Sam Curran back in the team. With 20.45 remaining, The Yellow army can go all the way and try to get the T20 World Cup hero back. In IPL 2022, the MS Dhoni-led side failed to pick regular wickets in the power play and death overs. Curran can solve that problem and also chip in with vital contributions with the bat in hand. The left-arm pacer’s economy rate of 6.45 is his big USP.
8. Narayan Jagadeesan (Kolkata Knight Riders)
The two-time IPL champions released a total of 16 players ahead of the next season, which includes both Jackson and Indrajith. But with purse constraints and a lot of spots to fill, KKR can go for some domestic stars. KKR will target Jagadeesan who had a superb season in the recently conducted Vijay Hazare Trophy. The wicketkeeper-batter smashed 830 runs in 8 matches at an average of 138.33. He finished as the highest run-getter.
9. Reece Topley (Royal Challengers Bangalore)
Reece Topley has been the star white-ball performer with the ball for England in 2022. Whether it’s his bounce or accuracy with lines and lengths, Topley can move the ball both ways, and his height has helped him bowl well at the death. Topley could be a perfect foil for someone like Harshal Patel in the RCB line-up.
10. Shivam Mavi (Punjab Kings)
Arshdeep Singh was retained by the Kings prior to the IPL mega-auction last year, and since then, the left-arm fast has excelled while representing India. They have international quicks like Kagiso Rabada and Nathan Ellis, but they still need Indian speedsters to enhance their attack. The young cricketer Shivam Mavi, who has played for the Kolkata Knight Riders in 32 IPL games and taken 30 wickets, maybe a great addition to the Kings.
