Vikram, who works predominantly in Tamil films, has starred in movies like Raavan. He has always called himself a Dhoni fan and has met him on a day when the teaser of his upcoming film “Mahaan” was released.

The CSK captain is currently in Chennai to prepare for the upcoming IPL Mega auction which is less than three weeks away. MS Dhoni will be in Chennai before heading to Bengaluru for the mega auction slated for February 12 and 13. During his stay, the team will deliberate on their auction strategies while MS Dhoni himself is expected to be present during the auction.

MS Dhoni is expected to play his last season in IPL 2022. However, with the IPL set to be conducted in centralised venues, it is likely that Chennai will miss out on hosting their captain. But there have been talks regarding a transition in captaincy with MS Dhoni handing over the mantle to Ravindra Jadeja.
“There have been no discussions regarding the matter. We will cross the bridge when the time comes. Dhoni is our captain. He is the first player of CSK and when he decides to step down, he will make that call. We are now focused on the auction,” the source told InsideSport.IN.
