Tim David not being backed – Despite buying him for mega-money, the MI team management hasn’t shown faith in Tim David. The Singapore international was seen in blistering form in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) and was in great touch as he scored runs and contributed with the bat as well. Playing for Multan Sultans, the Singapore-born scoring runs all over the park as he scored runs at a consistent pace for the team.
Mumbai Indians even played only two foreigners in a game recently but decided to keep David on bench. The power-hitter might have scored only 13 runs in his two matches, but his omission from the team ever since has not gone down well with the MI loyalists. It now remains to be seen how the management handles the situation and will Pollard drop from the squad.

Pollard’s concerning form – Kieron Pollard has been a consistent feature in the MI team for more than a decade, but has struggled for form in the current season, which is a reason why more and more fans are demanding David’s inclusion in the team. The Caribbean all-rounder has picked up only one wicket in five matches and has not turned up with the bat as well, accumulating only 57 runs.
