IPL 2022: Virat Kohli opens up about his bond with AB de Villiers
In an RCB Bold Diaries video, the former RCB skipper said “AB has been right next to me through thick and thin. I was actually thinking about it the other day, if we manage to win the title in the coming season this one or next year, I would be very emotional thinking about him first. After hard work for so many years, I would actually think of him. How much it would still mean to him.” He also revealed that de Villiers informed him about his decision through a voice note, and both Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma were shocked to hear it.

Kohli also said every single person in RCB misses AB and that there is not even one individual whose life he has not touched. RCB began their IPL 2022 campaign by playing a match against PBKS. Their batting once again clicked but their bowlers failed to defend a huge score of 205. RCB will look to get back to winning ways in their next match against KKR on Wednesday (March 30).
