- Hetmyer admitted to Trent Boult that it was difficult initially to get going at the Wankhede wicket.
- The southpaw was also dropped by Krunal Pandya on 14. He cashed on that missed opportunity and started to tee off.
- LSG bowler Holder had to face the wrath of Hetmyer’s onslaught at the fag end of the innings

“Pretty much I like playing against Holder and we have banter that we do against each other. If he gets me out he will speak about it for hours and hours. But if I hit him, I will just watch and smile. That’s how it is,” Hetmyer said.

Hetmyer was also effusive in praise of Trent Boult for bowling a stellar first over. The pacer removed KL Rahul for a first-ball duck and also picked up the wicket of Krishnappa Gowtham. The left-arm bowler’s double strikes dented LSG’s innings from which they could not recover. RR eventfully won the match by three runs and now sits pretty at the first position in the points table.
