The video showcased Ashwin receiving a welcome box from the Rajasthan Royals official and then unboxing it to check the contents of the box. Ashwin revealed that the biggest plus point for him in playing for the Rajasthan Royals is the colour pink. The Royals have a pink coloured outfit and Ashwin’s two daughters, Akhira and Aadhya absolutely adore the colour. Aswin further revealed that seeing the pink jersey and other merchandise, his two daughters will be all over the items.

Apart from the jersey, the welcome box had some other cool and interesting items. Apart from a pink cap, there was also a pink-coloured water bottle with the words ‘Halla Bol’ written on it. Halla Bol is the official tagline for the Rajasthan outfits. The box also had a welcome card.
Ashwin was a part of 10 marquee players to appear in the IPL 2022 Auction at Set 1 and sold to the Rajasthan outfits for a salary of 5 Crores.
Ravichandran Ashwin has been a veteran of IPL and has been playing the tournament since 2009. Having played over 167 matches, he has picked 145 wickets and will be aiming to increase his tally in IPL 2022. IPL 2021, was quite average for the spinner who picked just 7 wickets in 13 games. However, Ashwin’s consistent performance in IPL made his comeback to the Indian team.
