Dinesh Karthik has time and again rescued RCB with his pyrotechnics down the order but Tuesday was not meant to be one of those days as the Indian veteran was run out early in a crunch chase against the Rajasthan Royals. RCB were struggling to remain in the hunt and were down to 66/5 when Karthik walked into bat.
However, in a bizarre incident, Karthik was left stranded and run out for just six as RCB slipped down to 72/6. DK had hit one straight to Chahal and was nowhere in the frame as Chahal tried to collect the throw and hit the stumps.
However, the ex-RCB star fumbled and took his own sweet time to dislodge the bails. Meanwhile, Karthik had already given up and was just walking towards the crease and was found short in a game-turning moment. Watch the video here:

RCB fans watching at the MCA Stadium were left devastated following Dinesh Karthik’s dismissal and many decided to leave the ground than watch the rest of the match. Fans were pictured leaving the stadium on the broadcast while the RR supporters celebrated their team’s success.
