Sunrisers Hyderabad are still alive mathematically after the 3-run win. With 12 points from 13 matches, SRH remained on 8th spot. However, even if they score 14 points by winning against PBKS in the last match, they will not be guaranteed a playoff spot.
- SRH will need to win their last match against PBKS.
- SRH will also have to hope that RCB lose to GT in the last match and DC lose to MI.
- That combination of results will put RCB, DC, and SRH on 14 points each.
- However, SRH will have to win by a big margin to up their Net Run Rate.
- For SRH to qualify, DC will have to lose by 9 wickets with 10 overs to spare or by over 100 runs.
