This incident took place on Friday when Iyer, alongside his associate Rachita Berry and LSG mentor Gautam Gambhir’s manager Gaurav Arora, were travelling from Mumbai to Pune ahead of their team’s match against Punjab Kings at the MCA Cricket Association Stadium.

While the team, alongside Gautam Gambhir, travelled in the team bus, Iyer was a part of the small group who was travelling by car and unfortunately met with a road accident. Thankfully, Lucknow Super Giants have confirmed that all three have suffered minor injuries and are now in a stable condition.
