IPL 2022 Lowest Total: RCB bag unwanted record after embarrassing 68 all out; LSG, CSK, KKR in top 5 – Check out
1. RCB 68 all out vs SRH – Brabourne Stadium
Marco Jansen delivered a stunning spell as Sunrisers Hyderabad ran through the Royal Challengers Bangalore to skittle them up for 68. Jansen, T Natarajan and Umran Malik picked up threw wickets each, while Abhishek Sharma ensured that SRH finish off the chase in 8 overs.
2. LSG 82 all out vs GT – MCA Stadium
Chasing a modest 145, Lucknow Super Giants crumbled like a pack of cards to be bowled out for just 82. Rashid Khan ran through the batting order to finish with 4/24, while R Sai Kishore, Yash Dayal and Mohammed Shami were also amongst the wickets.
3. CSK 97 all out vs MI – Wankhede Stadium
CSK had a season to forget in IPL 2022, but their worst moment came at the Wankhede Stadium against arch rivals Mumbai Indians. Daniel Sams ran through the CSK top order to reduce them to 24/5, before eventually bowling them out for 97, with MS Dhoni scoring an unbeaten 36. In response, MI chased down the score in 15 overs to bag a rare win.
4. KKR 101 all out vs LSG – MCA Stadium
Chasing 177 to win, KKR crumbled to their lowest score of 2022 in what was one of the biggest defeats of the season. Shreyas Iyer and Co. could only manage 101 in response, with Jason Holder and Avesh Khan picking up three wickets each. For KKR, matters would have been worse if not for Andre Russell’s quick fire 45.
5. MI 113 all out vs KKR – Dy Patil Stadium
Kolkata bagged a rare win over Mumbai Indians as Rohit Sharma and co. put one of their worst batting displays at the DY Patil Stadium. Chasing 166 to win, MI were bowled out for 113, with Ishan Kishan scoring 51 of those. Mumbai lost their last 6 wickets for 13 runs with Pat Cummins picking up a three-wicket haul.
