Former RR bowler Chetan Sakariya donned the famous ‘pink’ jersey to support his previous team in the IPL 2022 final. Sakariya who currently plies his trade for Delhi Capitals, has no love lost for his former franchise, and was among the 100,000 in attendance cheering the Royals in the IPL 2022 final.

It was with the Royals last season that Sakariya burst onto the scene, even earning an India call up for the series against Sri Lanka. He made his India debut against Sri Lanka and featured in two T20Is and a solitary ODI game.
The left arm pacer from Saurashtra wasn’t retained ahead of the IPL 2022 season due to retention rules and it was Delhi who eventually signed him, bidding in excess of Rs 4 crore.
