Coming into bat at the fall of Mahipal Lomror’s wicket, Dinesh Karthik played a fine cameo to help RCB over the 200-run mark in their innings against Lucknow. Karthik stitched an excellent partnership with Rajat Patidar, who went on to score a stunning century.
The veteran took his time, scoring just six runs of his first 10 balls before launching an onslaught as RCB scored 84 in the last five overs. Karthik hit Avesh Khan for three boundaries in an over, before scoring a six and a boundary of Dushmantha Chameera in the penultimate over. He then hit Avesh Khan for another boundary in the final over as RCB reached 207 in their alloted overs.
