He will be taking up a coaching role with South African T20 side Titans for the upcoming season.
“Today I announce my retirement from all forms of cricket! Thanks to all who have played a part in my journey whether it be big or small…it’s been a fun ride! Delighted to be taking up a coaching role at Titan,” Chris Morris said in an Instagram post.

Chris Morris played 81 IPl matches, 618 runs at an average of 22.07 and bagged 95 wickets. In the last season, he scalped 15 wickets and scored 67 runs in 11 matches for Rajasthan Royals.
For South Africa, he played 4 Tests, 42 ODIs and 23 T20Is since making his debut in 2012 against New Zealand and played his first ODI in 2013. The all-rounder’s first match in Test cricket came in when England toured South Africa in 2016. He last played an international game in 2019.
