The IPL 2022 Mega Auction will take place on 12th and 13th February in Bangalore while the main tournament is tentatively scheduled to commence from 27th March. A total of 590 players will go under the hammer in this mega auction.

Jason Sangha: The 22-year-old Australian batter is an upcoming talented player. In the recently concluded Big Bash League (BBL) he scored 445 runs in 12 innings with a good average of 49.44 for the Sydney Thunders. Quite handy with the bowling he scalped 4 wickets with an average of 18.50. The exceptional fielder took 9 catches in BBL 2022. The uncapped player has set a base price of 20 lakhs in the upcoming IPL 2022 Mega Auction.
Rilee Roussouw: The South African batter had a small stint in IPL at Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2014 and 2015. Roussouw has played 36 ODI games and 15 T20I matches where he scored 1239 and 327 runs respectively. His IPL stint is best left forgotten after scoring 53 runs in just 5 games. Roussouw will look to relaunch his IPL career in 2022 after having set a base price of 1 Cr.

Maheesh Theeksana: The young Sri Lankan spinner is a rising talented player. At the tender age of 21-years, he already has played 4 ODI and 10 T20I matches for his nation. Maheesh has scalped 6 wickets in ODIs and 9 wickets in T20Is and will be eager to find a team in IPL 2022 after having set a base price of 50 lakhs.
Tymal Mills: The 29-year-old English pacer has previously played just 5 games for RCB in 2017 where he managed to pick 5 wickets. Mills’s BBL 2022 season was also quite decent after picking 12 wickets in 7 innings with an average of 15.83 for the Hobert Hurricanes. At a base price of 1 Cr, Mills can be a good option for teams looking for an overseas pacer.
Naveen-ul-Haq: The young 22-year-old pacer for Afghanistan will catch quite a few eyes of the IPL teams. The young bowler has 7 ODI and 13 T20I caps under his belt where he has picked up 14 and 18 wickets respectively. At a mere base price of 50 lakhs, Naveen-ul-Haq will be a target of many teams.
