Rohit and Ishan make vital contributions – Rohit and Ishan made vital contributions to the side as they scored 43 and 45 runs respectively, before taking route to pavilion. There wasn’t too much that separated the two sides as Rohit scored 43 off 28 while Ishan scored 45 off 29 deliveries, almost at identical strike rates. Both of them scored five fours, while Rohit scored one six in his innings.
Rohit’s IPL 2022 in numbers – Today’s inning of 43 runs is Rohit’s best knock of the season as he surpassed his previous best of 41 against Delhi Capitals (DC). In total Rohit has played 10 matches and scored 198 runs at an average of 19.8 for the season. His strike rate of 123 is also a place where Rohit hasn’t impressed a lot this season.

Ishan Kishan also rejuvenated – Ishan Kishan initially started on a positive note as he scored an unbeaten 81 and 54-run innings at the start of the campaign. However, his form then started too deep as he suffered with the pace of the game. Ishan did get couple of starts after those two big innings, but failed miserably. His latest innings must have given him some relief.
