IPL 2021: SRH’s Jason Holder lands in Chennai for IPL 2021, enters mandatory quarantine- West Indies and Sunrisersh Hyderabad key player Jason Holder has arrived in Chennai ahead of IPL 2021. He will undergo a mandatory 7-day period of quarantine before joining the team.
As per BCCI’s SOPs for IPL 2021, all players (except for those from the India-England series), support staff, and management entering the bubble need to undergo a seven-day quarantine in their hotel rooms.
Every individual will be tested multiple times during this period, and upon returning the negative results, they will be allowed to come out of their rooms and commence outdoor training and practice sessions.

Jason Holder was bought in mid-IPL 2020 after Mitchell Marsh pulled out of IPL due to an injury. He had scalped 14 wickets in 7 matches last year.
Holder is a key player for SRH in their quest to 2nd IPL trophy.
SRH will play their opening match against KKR on April 11. Amid quarantine, Holder is set to miss the opening match for the Orange army.
