IPL 2021- SRH vs KKR: Manish Pandey roars back to form, hits 61 off 44 balls- Sunrisers Hyderabad key player Manish Pandey has returned to form after well-made runs against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). In his innings, he smacked 2 fours and 3 sixes. He came at the crease when SRH were struggling at 10/2 and ensured KKR do not get his wicket cheaply. The right-handed batsman shared a partnership of 92 runs for the third wicket with opening batsman Jonny Bairstow (55).

Manish Pandey’s last 3 innings in IPL 2020 read: 21, 24, 26. Having said that, he still raked up 425 runs in 16 matches last IPL. In 147 matches, Pandey has scored over 3,300 runs in IPL. It includes 18 50s and a century. The 31-year-old is a vital cog in the SRH middle-order. SRH depends upon his consistency for their success in an IPL season.

In the match, Nitish Rana and Rahul Tripathi played knocks of 80 and 53 respectively as Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) posted a total of 187/6 in the allotted twenty overs against SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Sunday here at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Mohammad Nabi and Rashid Khan were among the pick of SRH bowlers with a couple of wickets each. Earlier SRH had opted to bowl first after winning the toss.

In the second innings, KKR won the match by 10 runs. Manis Pandey slammed 61 runs but couldn’t take the team over the victory line. Abdul Samad scored 19 off 8 balls. Vijay Shankar and Mohammad Nabi failed to deliver with the bat.
