IPL 2021: SRH skipper David Warner gives big update on Kane Williamson’s future; Check out

IPL 2021 – Kane Williamson to play for SRH in IPL14? Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper David Warner broke his silence on Kane Williamson’s future with the franchise for Indian Premier League 2021. A fan on Wednesday asked the Australian on Twitter to clarify if Williamson will exit SRH next season. To it Warner responded by saying “Kane will not be going anywhere”.

A Twitter user with the name @MKGUPTA211, tagged Warner and posted, ‘@davidwarner31sir we are hearing that Kane Williamson is going to another team by inside trading we need a clarity about it will we have @NotNossy Kane Back into @SunRisers Love from INDIA”

Warner replied saying that it was the first time he was hearing something like this and confirmed that Kane Williamson was not going anywhere.

“First I have heard of this. Kane will not be going anywhere,” the SRH skipper said.

Both Warner and Williamson have been the core SRH for the past couple of years now. In IPL 2020, Williamson scored 317 runs in 12 games at an average of 45 and strike rate of 133.

He is currently gearing up for the Boxing Day Test against Pakistan.

 

David Warner, on the other hand, was ruled out of the second Test against India at the Melbourne Cricket Ground due to his groin strain, and is hoping to be fit for the 3rd Test in Sydney starting on January 3.
