IPL 2021: Sharjah Cricket Stadium – Best bowler, Best batsman, Most successful team, All the records ahead of Phase 2 action – Due to the small boundaries and flat pitches at Sharjah Cricket Stadium, it’s one of the fans all-time favourite grounds. It’s a batsmen’s paradise and graveyard for bowlers. IPL 2021 phase 2 will have its first match on the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on September 24, Friday when RCB will take on CSK in an evening game. Sharjah is all set to host as many as 10 IPL matches in the IPL’s UAE leg.

021: Sharjah has been referred to as one of the best grounds in the world for chasing. Teams have chased down huge 200+ scores on this ground with ease as there are small boundaries and the pitch is also flat. Overall Sharjah has hosted 13 T20 matches out of which nine were won by the team batting first while the remaining four went in favour of the team batting first. The average 1st innings score is 149 while the average 2nd innings score is 131.
