IPL 2021: Prithvi Shaw, Shikhar Dhawan in great spirits, recreate viral reel ahead of Phase 2 kick-off – Prithvi Shaw and Shikhar Dhawan have been a devastating partnership on the field for the Delhi Capitals, and the duo shares the chemistry of it as well, as the two openers have adopted the latest social media trends with ease. Shaw and Dhawan have gone viral on Instagram after the latter shared a reel of them recreating a viral meme in a hilarious video. The duo appeared in great spirits as they enacted the dialogues as they prepare to begin their IPL 2021 Phase 2 campaign against the Sunrisers Hyderabad.

IPL 2021: Shikhar Dhawan and Prithvi Shaw recreated the hilarious ‘sabzi nahi pohe banenge’ meme in a video that has gone viral on social media. The dialogue is from the famous Hindi TV serial ‘Saath Nibhana Saathiya’ where the character ‘Kokila ben’, who gets angry at the house help, Mani, when she was chopping the vegetables and she ordered her to make ‘Pohe‘ instead.

The dialogue has been made into an audio meme, which has been used in various reels on Instagram. In the video, Shaw and Dhawan begin dancing to the background music before they start mouthing the dialogues and the video ends with them dancing again. IPL 2021:  Prithvi Shaw and Shikhar Dhawan have been prolific with the bat for the Delhi Capitals and are one of the biggest reasons behind their rise to second in the IPL standings. Dhawan is the leading run-getter of the tournament, having scored 380 runs in just 8 innings, while Shaw is fourth on the list scoring 304 from his willow. Shaw’s strike rate of 166.48, is the second-highest IPL 2021, and Delhi Capitals will hope that the duo can replicate their success in the UAE.
