IPL 2021 KKR vs RCB: Virat Kohli plays his 200th match for ‘Men in Red:’ Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) fans are very emotional as RCB skipper Virat Kohli will be playing his 200th match for the side as they take on Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) today in Abu Dhabi. The emotional quotient of the Bangalore fans is heightened as Kohli’s 200th match appearance is coming just after he had announced his plan to step down as RCB captain after this season.

My favourite memory of  Virat Kohli for RCB is definitely the 2016 season when he delivered one of the most stunning performances with the bat. In one of the matches, he went onto score a century with eight stitches in his hand. That was the most iconic moment ever, a fan in the video had said.

Fans rolled back to the times on 2008, 2010, 2011 IPL seasons and hailed the prolific player for his batting skills and aggression that he has been showing since then.

The 33-year old has a fine record playing for RCB in the IPL. In 191 innings in IPL and for the RCB, Kohli has smashed 6076 runs with an average of 37.98. He has smashed five hundreds and forty half-centuries in the IPL.

Besides, he has the most runs in IPL history so far and is the only batsman to have reached 6,000 plus IPL reasons as of now.
