IPL 2021 – Kieron Pollard Prasid Clash: Kieron Pollard and Prasidh Krishna clashed during last night’s clash between Mumbai Indians and the Kolkata Knight Riders. The defending champions put into bat set a target of 156, which KKR chased down thanks to half-centuries from Venkatesh Iyer and Rahul Tripathi. While the duo stole the show with the bat, Prasidh Krishna was impressive with ball in hand, certainly irking Kieron Pollard.

IPL 2021 – Kieron Pollard Prasid Clash: Kieron Pollard over the years has given a lot of blockbuster entertainment with his antics, right from taping his mouth to throwing a bat at Mitchell Starc. While things did not escalate in that regard, there was certainly some angry stares when Pollard went up against Prasidh Krishna. The KKR pacer tried to get under the Mumbai Indians star’s skin, and as expected, Pollard definitely did not have an endearing response.

The pacer had failed to catch the ball but walked up to Pollard, much to the irritation of the Mumbai Indians star, who mouthed a few words and looked visibly upset. While Pollard gave Prasidh the stare, the Indian pacer cooly, put on his hat and walked off showing no signs of nerves.

Pollard’s cameo took Mumbai to 155, but the score was far from sufficient, as Rahul Tripathi and Venkatesh Iyer set the stage on fire, in a stellar partnership to take KKR over the line. The two-time champions finished off the chase with 29 balls to spare, to give their NRR a huge boost. The win also meant that Kolkata pipped Mumbai into the top four of the IPL 2021 points table, with just five games left for the season.
