IPL 2021 Auction: List of top five highest-paid allrounders- The Indian Premier League auction was conducted in Chennai on Thursday. All IPL franchises– CSK, MI, KXIP, RCB, RR, SRH, DC and KKR bought a number of players to fill their loopholes and strengthen their squads.

A number of allrounders earned big in the IPL 2021 auction, including the likes of Chris Morris, Kyle Jamieson, Glenn Maxwell and Moeen Ali. While Morris broke all-time record, Glenn Maxwell’s price went up from 10.75 crore to Rs 14.25 crore.

After the IPL 2021 auction, take a list of most-paid allrounders in Indian Premier League:

Chris Morris- Rs 16.25 crore (Rajasthan Royals)

The South Africa all-rounder received multiple bids and then went on to break all-time IPL record in auction ceremony.

Kyle Jamieson- Rs 15 crore (Royal Challengers Bangalore)

The New Zealand pacer with good performance in the Test arena was sold to RCB for Rs 15 crore. He has 36 wickets in six Tests for the Kiwis.

Glenn Maxwell- Rs 14.25 crore (Royal Challengers Bangalore)

Despite a failure in the IPL 2020, Maxwell is a match-winner and change the context of the game in the middle-order. He is also handy with the ball.

Jhye Richardson- Rs 14 crore (Punjab Kings)

The leading wicket-taker of the BBL 2020-21 was sold to Punjab Kings for Rs 14 crore. He can support Mohammad Shami in the lineup.

Moeen Ali- Rs 7 crore (Chennai Super Kings)

The England all-round was bought for Rs 7 crore by Chennai Super Kings after the yellow army failed to sign Glenn Maxwell.

Moises Henriques- RS 4.4 crore (Punjab Kings)

The Australian all-rounder had performed well in the T20 series against India last year. He can play at No.4 and contribute to the team with wickets in slog overs.

Shakib Al Hasan-Rs 3.2 crore (Kolkata Knight Riders)

Shakib Al Hasan completed his homecoming in the IPL 2021 auction. He had previously bought by KKR in a number of seasons, playing a key role in winning 2012 and 2014 title.
