IPL 2021: AB de Villiers hilariously imitates Virat Kohli’s celebration in RCB dressing room – WATCH – Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) were a happy dressing room after Virat Kohli and Co. ended their seven-match losing streak in the UAE with a thumping win over the Mumbai Indians. Glenn Maxwell put in an all-round show, while Harshal Patel picked up a hat-trick to clinch a 54-run win, inching RCB closer to the playoffs. The buoyant rubbed off on the players and AB de Villiers was at his very best as RCB showed an insight into the dressing room talk.

In a video uploaded by RCB on social media, AB de Villiers can be seen imitating Virat Kohli’s on-field antics in the dressing room. The South African veteran was in fine spirits and midway through Virat Kohli’s speech to the squad, he rushed him to imitate how the RCB skipper reacts every time there’s a wicket. De Villiers did the traditional fist pump and mouthing off and followed by a couple of embraces to the teammates around. The squad broke out into laughter and it was all smiles for RCB who inched closer to the playoffs. The imitation was yet another testament to the brotherly bond Kohli and De Villiers share, over the ten years, they have shared the RCB dressing room. Watch the video here:

Virat Kohli and Co. registered their sixth win of the campaign to move closer to the IPL 2021 playoffs. RCB are third in the standings with 12 points and need just two wins from their reaming four league stage games to seal their place in the top four. Sunday’s win over Mumbai Indians was the first time that RCB completed the double over them, and marked the first time they had bowled out the franchise in a game.
