End of MI’s innings

MI-195/5 after 20 overs

Half century for Hardik Pandya

Hardik Pandya brings up his fifty with a six. 54 runs from 20 balls. Takes in the applause and skipper Kieron Pollard looks extremely pleased – as he should. Just 20 balls for his fourth IPL fifty

MI-168/5 after 19 overs

MI lose half their side

Saurabh Tiwary goes for a big hit once again but this time he can’t beat Ben Stokes at long on. A full toss from another Rajasthan bowler but this one yields a wicket. Comfortable take for Stokes.

Onslaught from Pandya;150 comes up for MI

27 runs from the Ankit Rajpoot over and that’s all Hardik Pandya there. Converting three poor full tosses into six runs each. The other all in the power and force from the MI all-rounder. Rajpoot finishes his quota with a poor 0/60 having started well. MI-165/4 after 18 overs

17 runs off the 17th over

No team has a better run rate in 16-20 overs in IPL 2020 than MI. That’s the start right there. A boundary after 12 balls is followed by another four and a six to close things out. MI-138/4 after 17 overs

Pandya survives; Tight over from Tyagi

5 runs from the Kartik Tyagi over. Singles all the way between Tiwary and Pandya. And it could have been curtains for Pandya had Tewatia held on on the final ball of the over. Once again, he came forward from the boundary but couldn’t hold on on the stretch forward. . MI-121/4 after 16 overs

MI were 90/1 a little while ago but after losing three quick wickets, they will now be hoping to get the most out of the final five overs with two new batsmen in Hardik Pandya and Saurabh Tiwary. MI-116/4 after 15 overs

Game-changing over from Gopal

Shreyas Gopal gets two crucial wickets in the form of MI skipper Pollard and Suryakumar Yadav. Mumbai need someone to settle down and restore stability. MI-101/4 after 13 overs

Big wicket for RR

Kieron Pollard fails to pick up the googly. Huge gap between bat and pad and Shreyas Gopal breaches it with a perfect delivery. Pitched on the middle stump and maintained its line to hit middle stump.

MI go 3 down

Suryakumar Yadav walks back. Lifts the fuller off back foot towards extra cover. Finds Ben Stokes at long off who takes an easy catch to end SKY’s innings.

Another economical over in the Rajasthan camp. Rahul Tewatia goes for just the three runs as Tiwary looks to settle down and find his range. MI-94/2 after 12 overs

MI-91/2 after 11 overs

Jofra Archer grabs a sensational catch and that will be the end of Ishan Kishan. The ball was pitched bit short, angling away from the batsman and Kishan slashes it towards the third-man region. However, Archer had some other plans as he leaps and collects a superb one-handed beauty. FOW-90/2

We reach the halfway mark!

MI-89/1 after 10 overs

Strategic Timeout taken

12 runs from the Shreyas Gopal over as Suryakumar Yadav looks to get the flow of boundaries going once again.  Having missed the execution on two straight balls, Suryakumar finishes the over with a more confident boundary straight down the ground. MI-79/1 after 9 overs

Suryakumar rides his luck!

Gets a bit of luck as he is dropped in the deep by Rahul Tewatia. The RR fielder runs in from the extra cover boundary, almost cups the ball on the forward dive but doesn’t hold on.

Another over riddled with singles from the MI pairing. Rahul Tewatia going for five runs from his first over. Almost got Suryakumar Yadav to chip one to Steve Smith but it bounced just short at cover. MI-67/1 after 8 overs

Shreyas Gopal with a neat start. The leggie goes for just 3 runs from his first over. The two MI players collecting singles after the flourish in the last two overs. MI-62/1 after 7 overs

End of Powerplay!

14 from Ankit Rajpoot’s over. Two fours and two sixes to make the most of the powerplay. It brings up the fifty run stand between Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav. MI-59/1 after 6 overs

MI-45/1 after 5 overs

Another expensive over by Ankit Rajpoot as 12 runs come off it. The good news for Mumbai is Ishan Kishan going strong after a knock on his knees. MI-34/1 after 4 overs

Just the one run from the Jofra Archer over. A single on the fifth delivery the only return for MI there. Meanwhile, Ishan Kishan continuing having been struck on the knee. He limped around before collapsing and will continue for now. MI-21/1 after 3 overs

Ishan Kishan hurt by Archer’s pace

Ishan Kishan is beaten for pace by Jofra Archer. Gets struck on the knee while attempting a flick and goes down to the ground having limped at first. Appeared to have hit him on the pad but Kishan doesn’t look comfortable at all. Physio comes out to take a look and Kishan will continue.

Another 10 run over for Mumbai Indians. Ishan Kishan collecting two boundaries from the Ankit Rajpoot over. Survived a lucky bottom edge on the first four but the second looked more reassuring for those in the MI dugout. MI-20/1 after 2 overs

MI-10/1 after 1 over

Quinton de Kock is bowled! Lazy from the MI opener. He doesn’t move his feet and looks to play a nothing shot. Ends up getting an inside edge on to the stumps. Poor shot that from Quinton.

Bludgeoned by De Kock!

A cracking shot from the MI opener, goes miles away. Too short from Jofra Archer, de Kock gets in position and pulls it over square
