IPL 2020 Qualifier 2 DC vs SRH Dream11 Prediction: Delhi Capitals v Sunrisers. IPL 2020 DC vs SRH Qualifier 2: Peaking at the right time and with all their boxes ticked, Sunrisers Hyderabad are certain to hold sway over a dishevelled Delhi Capitals in the second Indian Premier League qualifier on Sunday. The past couple of weeks have been a picture in contrast for the two franchises.
After an underwhelming first half, Sunrisers Hyderabad started pushing the envelope with the mercurial David Warner marshalling his resources well. Capitals, on the other hand, looked like serious contenders till their first nine games, winning seven in that phase before an inexplicable slump saw them lose five out of their next six matches with skipper Shreyas Iyer looking all at sea.
Prithvi Shaw all set to be dropped, Delhi Capitals likely to opt for new opening pair against SRH in IPL 2020 Qualifier 2
Delhi Capitals opener Prithvi Shaw’s bat has looked completely silent in the ongoing Dream11 IPL 2020. With each passing match, problems with Shaw’s batting and headache for DC has compounded. It seems DC management has now lost patience with Shaw as he is all set to be dropped from the make or break game against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Sunday.
– Shaw has managed to score just 228 runs in 13 matches played this season at a strike rate of 136.52.
– Shaw’s highest score in the last 8 innings has been 19.
– He has been out on duck three times during this period.
– Shaw’s early dismissal in every match has created a lot of pressure on the team’s middle order resulting in team struggling for runs.
Milestones on the card!
-Shreyas Iyer needs 67 runs to complete 500 runs in IPL 2020.
-Ajinkya Rahane requires 69 runs to complete 4000 IPL runs.
-David Warner is 5 sixes away from completing 200 IPL sixes.
-Shahbaz Nadeem needs 3 wickets to complete 50 IPL wickets.
Can Stoinis be the gamechanger for DC again?
With 314 runs and nine wickets to his name, Stoinis is having one of his best IPL seasons, but the all-rounder said the team’s victories mean more than his individual performance.
Delhi Capitals all-rounder Marcus Stoinis on Saturday said playing “fearless cricket” could see them emerge victorious against a resurgent Sunrisers Hyderabad in the second qualifier and continue their march towards a maiden IPL title.
Air of uncertainty looms over Wriddhiman Saha’s availability!
Wriddhiman Saha’s groin injury, which ruled him out of the eliminator, might also keep him out of the second qualifier.
“We have faith in (Shreevats) Goswami. He has been around for some time and we need to give confidence,” said Holder, whose 13 wickets in six games along with crucial middle- order contributions, has been the ‘x factor’ for his side.
