Kings XI Punjab will be playing all their home fixtures at the PCA Stadium in Mohali in the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
For the past few weeks, there were speculations that the Punjab and Delhi IPL franchise were looking at the Ekana International Stadium in Lucknow as their second home.
However, the KXIP CEO Satish Menon has rubbished all such speculations. “There is absolutely no truth to all that. This time, we are not looking at a second venue,” Sportstar has quoted Menon as saying.

Kings XI had looked at Lucknow as a possible option last year, but it did not work out for various reasons. “We will play all the seven home games in Mohali this season. That’s where things stand,” Menon said reportedly.
KXIP in the past had played some of the IPL games at their adopted home grounds, including the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamshala. In 2018, they played only three of their seven home games in Mohali while the rest were played in Indore.
The Kings XI had created a record by winning seven games on the trot in Mohali. The team now must be looking at playing all their matches at Mohali and maintaining the winning streak.
KXIP in two key decision for the IPL 2020 have traded their incumbent captain Ravichandran Ashwin with the Delhi Capitals and roped in Anil Kumble as their chief coach.
