Toss Results
DC wins toss and opts to field first

Virat Kohli: We have a couple of changes. Gurkeerat Mann misses out, Dube comes in to provide some fire power in the middle. Shahbaz Ahmed comes in for Saini who is not fully fit. It is good to be batting first but we would have bowled had we won the toss.

Shreyas Iyer: We will bowl first. Dew is going to play a massive role. Looking at the previous games the surface looks a belter. We have three changes – Rahane, Axar and Sams come in. It’s a complicated situation to be and it happens in the IPL.

Tonight’s contest between DC vs RCB will potentially serves as a virtual qualifier. And interestingly not 1 but 2 teams can seal a playoffs berth depending on the fate of tonight’s results.

While the winner of IPL 2020 DC vs RCB will definitely book a berth; the NRR (net run rate) will also come into factor. Since KKR finished their league campaign with a 60-run win over Rajasthan Royals to get into the top four with 14 points and a net run-rate of -0.214 and if either DC (-0.159) or RCB (-0.145) finish with a lesser NRR, KKR can find themselves qualified.

DC vs RCB in Dream11 IPL 2020 : How DC & RCB can make it to playoffs ?

Royal Challengers Bangalore: Played 13, Points 14, NRR -0.145 Remaining match: vs Capitals

  • RCB now play DC. If they win they qualify as No.2 team
  • If they lose they can still qualify – provided they have a better run-rate than KKR
  • If Bangalore score 160, they need to make sure Delhi take at least 17.3 overs to chase it down. In case Bangalore is bowling first and concedes 160, they lose by at most 21 runs to keep their NRR ahead of Knight Riders .
