Inter defeats Bologna in Serie A: Inter welcomed Bologna to the San Siro stadium to play their 10th match of Serie A.
Belgian Romelu Lukaku opened the scoring for Antonio Conte’s men in the 16th minute in what was almost an own goal.
Achraf Hakimi scored right before half-time to double Inter’s lead. The visitors did manage to get a goal back as Emanuel Vigato scored in the 67th minute to cut Inter’s lead into half.
But then, Achraf Hakimi went on to score another just 3 minutes later, in the 70th minute to secure his brace. Inter won 3-1 and took all the 3 points.
They now sit in the 2nd spot behind AC Milan, having played one game more. Bologna is in the 10th spot with just 12 points.
Both Inter Milan and Saturday’s Serie A opponents Bologna meet at San Siro having registered back-to-back league wins since last month’s international break.
Antonio Conte‘s side completely swept aside Sassuolo. While mid-table Bologna took care of winless bottom team Crotone.

Inter have conceded at least two goals in each of their last six home games in all competitions and they have never been on a longer such run since the very beginning of Serie A in 1929.
Even boasting one of the most experienced and reliable goalkeepers around – plus several skilled center-backs to man the back three, Inter has not been adequate to derive the tide for a side which is the top scorer in Italy.
Soriano will perhaps fancy his chances of extending his scoring run at San Siro this Saturday, given Inter’s defensive issues.
His team’s hands will be full with a combative home attack, which could well take control of this game for the home side.
