Taylor Fritz vs Ben Shelton
Taylor Fritz struggled in the second round against his compatriot Ben Shelton. He lost the first set but managed to make a comeback to clinch victory in three sets. The fourth seed will aim to get back to his best as he takes on 30th seed Sebastian Baez in the third round.
Sebastian Baez began his campaign in the second round of the tournament. He started off with a dominant 6-3, 6-1 win against unseeded Rinky Hijikata. He is bracing up for a tough challenge against Taylor Fritz.
Baez started the season this year with two successive first round defeats at Maharashtra Open, ASB Classic and Australian Open. He then won the Cordoba Open title. Just before the Indian Wells Masters, he reached the semifinal at Chile Open.
Andy Murray vs Jack Draper
Former World No.1 Andy Murray has reached the third round after a straight set win against Radu Albot. Murray faced a tough first round contest against Tomas Etcheverry. He clinched a come-from-behind win against the Argentinian. Murray now faces fellow Briton Jack Draper for a spot in pre-quarterfinal.
Jack Draper has looked in good touch in the tournament. He dropped just two games against Leandro Riedi in the first round. In the second round he sailed past 24th seed Dan Evans with a 6-4, 6-2 win. He aims to continue the good show against Murray.

Carlos Alcaraz vs Tallon Griekspoor
Top seed Carlos Alcaraz began his Indian Wells campaign with a 6-3, 6-3 win against Thanasi Kokkinakis. He has brushed aside injury concerns with the win and now looks to carry forward the momentum. The Spaniard will be up against 31st seed Tallon Griekspoor who has been in good touch.
Griekspoor began the year by winning his maiden ATP title in Maharashtra Open. He then reached the third round at Australian Open. In the Indian Wells, he is the 31st seed and began the campaign with a straight set win against Guido Pella. He now faces his biggest test against World No.2 Alcaraz.

Emma Raducanu bs Beatriz Haddad Maia
Unseeded Emma Raducanu has shown good form in the Indian Wells Masters so far. She clinched straight set wins against Danka Kovinic and 20th seed Magda Linette to enter the third round. She is set to face 13th seed Beatriz Haddad Maia.
Beatriz Haddad Maia began her campaign in the tournament from the second round. She had to clinch a come-from-behind win against Katerina Siniakova in her first match of the tournament. She will face a challenge from an in-form Raducanu in the upcoming contest.

Ons Jabeur vs Marketa Vondrousova
Fourth seed Ons Jabeur fumbled in the first set of her second round contest against Magdalena Frech. After losing it 4-6, she came back to win the next two sets 6-4, 6-1 to enter the third round. She will now face Marketa Vondrousova in the upcoming contest.
Vondrousova meanwhile has been in top-notch form in the tournament. In two round, she dropped just six games. She defeated Rebecca Marino 6-2, 6-2 in the first round. She went on to defeat her higher-ranked compatriot Marie Bouzkova 6-1, 6-1 in the second round and now faced fourth seed Ons Jabeur.
Iga Swiatek vs Bianca Andreescu
Top seed Iga Swiatek clinched her 10th straight win by defeating Claire Liu 6-0, 6-1 in the second round. Swiatek aims to continue her dominance as she takes on Bianca Andreescu in the third round.
Andreescu is the 32nd seed. She dropped a set in her second round contest against Peyton Stearns. The Canadian now faces an uphill task against an in-form Swiatek in the third round. Andreesucu entered the Indian Wells Masters after two successive first round defeats at Abu Dhabi Open and Dubai Tennis Championships.
