Indian Legends vs England Legends: Former India swashbuckling opener Virender Shewag on Monday shared a sneak peek of legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar’s recovery ahead India Legends vs England’s match in the Road Safety World Series 2021. In the clip, Tendulkar can be seen sitting on a chair with team physio. He can be seen taking injections in order to be fit for play. Former all-rounder Yuvraj Singh also featured in the video. Sehwag was seen asking Sachin for a reaction ahead of the fixture, he says that “koshish to yahi rahi hai”, while Yuvraj added, “tu sher hai but ye babbar sher hai.”

The cricketer went through a number of injuries throughout his career but always defied the odds.

While Sehwag and Sachin are one of the attacking openers in cricket, Yuvraj Singh is one of the excellent allrounders that India ever produced. They had won the 2011 World Cup title together when India defeated Sri Lanka in the final at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.
Indian Legends vs England Legends: The Road Safety World Series is underway at Shaheed Veer Narayan International Stadium, Raipur. Its sole aim is to create awareness about road safety.
In the opening fixture, India thrashed Bangladesh by 10 wickets as Sachin and Sehwag turned back the clock during their played blistering knocks. While Sehwag smashed 80* off 35 deliveries, Sachin scored an unbeaten 33 off 26 balls.
India Legends are on top of the points table in Road Safety World Series T20. They have won all three matches against Bangladesh, West Indies and Sri Lanka. They will next face England legends today at 7.30 pm IST. The semifinals and final matches will be played between March 17 and 21.
