Ireland launch new kit –
Ahead of the two-match T20I series, Ireland took to their twitter handle to showcase the new kit.
“THE NEW KIT UNVEILED! We revealed Ireland Men’s new playing kit today ahead of the “LevelUp11 India Tour of Ireland T20 Series – powered by Joy-e-bike”. #BackingGreen in association with #exchange22 and #ABDIndiaSterlingReserve” was the text written on the Ireland cricket’s Twitter handle.
A set of Irish players including Paul Sterling were seen wearing the new kit as they enjoyed their photo shoot.

Ireland winless against India:
Ireland will be hoping to win their first-ever contest against India. In 2018 India played two T20Is on Irish soil as they won on both occasions. A 76-run win in Dublin was followed by another 143-run win at the same venue two days later.
Rohit Sharma, who is not part of the series will have fond memories from that tour as he scored 97 runs in the first match as he missed out on a hundred. In next match, India posted 213 runs, thanks to Suresh Raina’s 69 and KL Rahul’s 70-run knock as India defeated the home side by 143 runs as they were bowled out for just 70.

The first set of Indian players including Dinesh Karthik and Ishan Kishan reached Ireland, ahead of the two-match T20I. Stand-in captain Hardik Pandya and VVS Laxman, head coach of the side for the tour left for Dublin on Friday with vice captain Bhuvaneshwar Kumar also part of the contingent.
