On Tuesday, she slammed an electrifying 77 off just 77 balls against India in the first ODI to reach the milestone.
With that, she became the quickest to reach the milestone in just 1954 balls. England’s Nat Sciver (2061) and Australia’s Meg Lanning (2069) were the previous quickest in terms of balls faced.
IND-W vs AUS-W: Alyssa Healy has been in top form lately and played yet another match-winning knock in the first of the three ODIs against India at Harrup Park, Mackay. Chasing 226 runs, Alyssa Healy and Rachael Haynes started off the proceedings. While Haynes looked a bit rusty and conservative in the approach, Alyssa Healy had some other plans as she smashed almost every Indian bowler out of the park.
She raced to her half-centuries in just 56 deliveries and quickly shifted gears afterwards. In her 77 runs innings, Alyssa Healy smashed eight fours and two sixes at a strike rate of 100.00 and took the game away from the visitors indulging in a hundred runs partnership with Rachael Haynes for the opening wicket.

IND-W vs AUS-W: Earlier, put in to bat, Shafali Verma and Smriti Mandhana provided a quickfire start and put on 31 runs inside the first four overs. However, Australia stormed right back as Darcie Brown dismissed both Shafali (8) and Mandhana (16), reducing India to 38/2 in the sixth over.
Mithali Raj and debutant Yastrika Bhatia managed 77 runs partnership for the third wicket and just when they were looking all set to shift gears, the side lost the wicket of Bhatia (35) to Brown in the 26th over. Deepti Sharma too (9) failed to leave a mark with the bat, handing Brown her fourth wicket as India was reduced to 129/4 in the 31st over.
IND-W vs AUS-W: However, the visitors finally managed to post a total of 225/8 in the end, after little cameos from Richa Ghosh and Jhulan Goswami of 32 and 20 respectively. Skipper Mithali Raj ended up as the top scorer for the side as she hit her 5th consecutive ODI 50 and also completed 20,000 career runs in the process. She played a knock of 61 runs off 107 deliveries.
