Klusner heaps praise on Pandya
Ahead of the ODI series against India, Klusner heaped praise on the Indian side and highlighted the importance of Hardik Pandya. Speaking to Times of India, Klusner said, “A fast-bowling all-rounder like Hardik Pandya adds glue to any white-ball side or to any cricket team.
“It’s so good to have him back and he is getting into the form we are accustomed to seeing. The Indian team looks a different side when Hardik Pandya is in full flow.”
Hardik has been in superb form for India in recent times and recently led the Indian side against the West Indies and Ireland.
Hardik was also praised by Aaqib Javed recently and said, “The middle-order batting between India and Pakistan, is where the difference lies. India’s all-rounders can make a huge difference. We don’t have an all-rounder of Hardik Pandya’s calibre,” Javed said during an interaction on paktv.tv.
Hardik Pandya’s Revival
Pandya led GT from the front, scoring 487 runs in 15 games at an average of 44.27 and four half-centuries. Pandya also took eight wickets throughout the tournament.
In Blue colours, Pandya had his first experience as the vice-captain during the home series against South Africa that took place in June. The series had ended in a 2-2 draw after the final T20I was washed out.
He was then named as the captain of the Indian team that went to Ireland to play two T20Is. India won that series 2-0. After this, Pandya was named as the vice-captain of India’s T20I series against West Indies, which India won 4-1.

Hardik to be India’s Talisman at Asia Cup
