After a lot of hurdles, Indian players reached Florida in two batches. The first batch comprising Suryakumar Yadav, Shreyas Iyer and Harshal Patel reached on Wednesday while the rest including Hardik Pandya reached on Thursday. The second batch of players had to visit Guayana to get their visa issues sorted. Indian players will have a full-fledged practice session on Friday at the Lauderhill stadium in Florida.

With India leading the 5-match series 2-1 and Rohit Sharma will want to wrap up the series on Saturday. That will help Team India test a few other combinations in the 5th match on Sunday.
However, Shreyas Iyer may not be in plans for the final two T20s. He had a torrid run in the first three matches, scoring just 34 runs in total at a strike rate of 80.25. He is all set to be dropped. Avesh Khan is the other player who is all set to be axed. But Harshal Patel’s rib injury is yet to heal. The pacer was not considered for the first three matches.
InsideSport understands that a final call will be taken on his inclusion closer to the match. If he is fit, he will replace Avesh Khan in the Playing XI. Kuldeep Yadav may also get a look as he is still in contention to make the T20 World Cup squad. Ravindra Jadeja who is still nursing an injury may be rested from the remaining matches.

- Harshal Patel was ruled out of the 2nd & 3rd T20 due to rib injury but if he gets fit by 4th T20, he will return with Bhuvneshwar Kumar rested.
- Kuldeep Yadav is also in the fray to return in Ravicnahdran Ashwin’s place. But if the conditions permit, he may partner Ashwin with two seamers playing.
- However, it’s Avesh Khan who is surely getting the boot. He was too expensive in his 5.2 overs in the series so far, conceding at 14.62 economy rate with just one wicket to show for.
- Shreyas Iyer too will be dropped after three unconvincing innings.
- Iyer has scored 0, 10 and 23 in the three innings. The 23-run knock came off 27 balls while Suryakumar Yadav hammered 26-ball fifty at the opposite end.
- Sanju Samson is a possibility to return as he was asked to stay back as a replacement for KL Rahul.
- With two matches left, he is likely to get a go in place of Shreyas Iyer.
- Deepak Hooda barely got an opportunity in the last match and he will retain his place in the XI.
- Ravindra Jadeja may also be rested as he is a sure-shot starter if fit.
