Dhawan took a short vacation to visit Australia where he met with his son Zoravar. Dhawan previously resided in Australia with his wife. Following their divorce last year, his son Zoravar lives with his mother Aesha Mukherji.
Dhawan took to a social media platform where posted pictures with his son with a caption, “Say cheese 😊 Missed my boy, so happy to see him again ❤️”

Dhawan had a brilliant season for the Punjab Kings and was the standout performer in the squad. The fiery opener scored 460 runs which was also the highest run scorer in the entire squad. With 3 fifties and an average of 38.33 Dhawan surprised everyone with his batting prowess even at the age of 36-years.

The destructive opener has found his way out of the Indian squad for quite some time over the years owing to his bad performances and his injury. But the Delhi batter decided to showcase his critics with his brilliant performance in IPL 2022.
Punjab Kings failed to make it to the IPL 2022 Playoffs and Dhawan too was not considered by the Indian selectors. With the Indian team eyeing to pave way for youngsters in the limited format of the game, there are doubts of this being the end of the road for Dhawan. However, Dhawan with his destructive batting performances and antics can easily put up a show if he is given the chance.
