South Africa start preparations in net –

Ahead of the five-match T20I series, both teams have started preparations with visitors South Africa showcasing their first net practice session.
The visitors led by Temba Bavuma intend to stop Team India from registering a 13th consecutive win in T20I cricket.
The Proteas have been boosted by the likes of David Miller and Quinton de Kock who were in superb form un the recently concluded Indian Premier League (IPL) season.
They will now try to put spanner in the work having already won the home series against India in January.

Added boost for team India with Rahul Dravid in dugout-

Earlier it was stated that, head coach Rahul Dravid would not be available for the entire T20I series. But the BCCI released a statement,

“Rahul will be available for the entire series. He insisted on being there with the team for the whole series and not leaving before the last match. The South Africa series is an important one. It will help him test a few combinations of players. He will join the squad in England before the warm-up,” a senior BCCI official told InsideSport.
